Dennis “Denny” E. Kellermeyer, age 67, passed away unexpectedly while hiking at Cuyahoga National Park on May 29, 2021. Denny was born January 20, 1954, and grew up on a farm in New Bremen, Ohio. He graduated from Bowling Green State University and established his loving family in Perrysburg. He recently retired after a 35-year career at La-Z-Boy Inc.

Denny, was known as Mr. Fix-It-Man, constantly working on home improvement projects and quick to lend a hand or tool. He was an avid gardener, a passionate Cleveland Browns fan and a captivating storyteller. He served in the community as a youth sports coach and leader for Boy Scouts. For 27 years, he held membership at Grace United Methodist Church. He was eternally optimistic ∏ and always looking towards his next adventure. Family was the most important thing to Denny, and he will be greatly missed.

Denny is survived by his wife, Andrea (Plas) Kellermeyer; children, Mark and his wife Elizabeth, Laurie, Jeff and David; grandchildren, Edyn, Max and Kit; sister, Nancy Parsons and her husband, Mike, and nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by parents, Herbert E. Jr. and Leota (Roettger) Kellermeyer, and infant son, Brian.

Friends will be received on Monday, June 14, from 3 to 7 p.m., in Witzler-Shank-Walker Funeral Home, 222 East South Boundary Street, Perrysburg (419-874-3133). Visitation will continue on Tuesday, June 15, from 1 to 2 p.m., in Grace Church, 601 East Boundary Street, Perrysburg, with a memorial service to follow at 2 p.m.
