Tax returns and payments to the tax division may still be hand-delivered via the secure mail slot located in the atrium area between the police division and the municipal building. The secure mail slot is accessible 24-hours a day, seven days per week from the entrance located along Walnut Street.

Anyone seeking assistance in preparing their Perrysburg tax return should submit the following documents to the tax office: copies of federal tax return, all copies of W-2 forms, and any W-2G or 1099-Misc forms. If a part-year resident of Perrysburg during 2020, also submit copies of pay statements showing year-to-date amounts as of the move-in date or move-out date.

Anyone not sure if they are required to file a tax return with the City of Perrysburg should contact the office at 419-872-8035. Chapter 891.091 of the Codified Ordinance of the City of Perrysburg requires each “taxpayer” to file a tax return whether or not a tax is due. “Taxpayers” include residents with taxable income of any source and non-resident individuals and enterprises doing business in Perrysburg. There is no age or income threshold which exempts a taxpayer from filing with the city.

In lieu of a tax return, retirees with no foreseeable taxable income may file a retiree exemption form for all future years. The retiree exemption form can be accessed online or by contacting our office.
