The Wood County Museum, 13660 County Home Road, Bowling Green, will host guided behind-the-scenes tours at 6 p.m., Thursday, May 6.

Led by museum staff Holly Kirkendall and Marissa Muniz, and museum volunteer Daniel Hergert, tours will take place every 30 minutes and last about one hour.

Guests will explore museum outbuildings that are not typically open to the public, including the hog barn, log cabin, chicken coop and other structures.

The tours will be held rain or shine, and visitors should dress for the weather and for walking around outdoors.

Tour groups will be limited to 15 people to allow for social distancing. Due to state and county COVID-19 restrictions, masks are required inside museum buildings at all times.

Tickets are $10 for members and $15 for non-members. Tours must be reserved ahead of time by calling 419-352-0967, or by visiting the museum.

The museum’s normal hours for self-guided tours are Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and weekends from 1 to 4 p.m. It is closed on government holidays.
