Way Public Library is pleased launched a monthly community chat series, “Virtual Coffee and Chat.”

The online series is an informal session featuring conversations with local officials about what’s going on in the community.

Guests will discuss what’s new in their organizations, along with the programs and services they offer.

The chats will be facilitated by librarian Rachel Henck Bentley.

Participants are invited to settle in with a warm beverage and prepare to get the latest information from community representatives.

Each session will end with a Q&A for those who attend. Questions also may be submitted in advance by email to rachel.henckbentley @waylibray.info.

The first session will take place from 2 to 3 p.m. on Friday, February 19, with special guest Janel Haas, director of Way Library. She will talk about new and notable happenings at the library and answer questions.

Registration is required and closes 12 hours prior to the start of the program. Registration can be completed online at waylibrary.info or by calling 419-874-3135, extension 119. The Zoom link will be emailed to all who register.

Future virtual chats will feature Mayor Tom Mackin, the Wood County Health Department and the Wood County Committee on Aging.
