On September 26, Friends of Ottawa National Wildlife Refuge received a national award for their commitment to the refuge.
Their unwavering commitment and enthusiasm for seamlessly connecting conservation and the local community has earned them the Molly Krival Award- Friends Group of the Year for the 2023 Wildlife Refuge Awards, presented by the National Wildlife Refuge Association.
