If you go for a walk in Hood Park, at the end of Louisiana Avenue by the Maumee River, take a look at the War Memorial. It was constructed in 2008 under the auspices of Perrysburg Legion Post 28.
Engraved on this monument are names of hometown veterans who gave their lives in the service of their country. The names begin with those lost in World War I and end at the first Gulf War.
