Work began Monday on a Northwestern Water and Sewer District pump station and forced main near Willowbend subdivision on West River Road.

The project cost is estimated at $2.5 million, according to NWSD.

There will be increased construction traffic and shoulder restrictions possible near the Willowbend subdivision through May.
