On September 7, 140 residents in Willowbend Subdivision celebrated “50 Years of Willowbend.”

Willowbend Subdivision was established in 1975 and developed by the Cavalear Development Company. The subdivision consists of 127 three-quarter acre lots. Development of Plat 1 began on West River road and Willowbend Road, with the first home built by Cavalear as a spec house.
