The Victory Center’s hallmark event–Luncheon and Fashion Show presented by Mercy Health–will take place Friday, March 4, at the Hilton Garden Inn at Levis Commons.

The theme is “Timeless in Teal.”

The social hour will begin at 10:30 a.m., followed by a gourmet lunch and a New York-style fashion show choreographed by Katie Maskey.

Eight survivor models will share their stories on the stage before taking a victory walk down the runway and being joined by another 22 models.

Walking the 72-foot runway this year are Kristian Brown of WTVG 13, Tiffany Tarpley and Dan Cummins of WTOL 11 and former Toledo mayor Mike Bell.

Former WTOL 11 anchor Chrys Peterson, local cancer advocate, will serve as master of ceremonies.

There will be a number of raffles, including the Big Ticket featuring a six- to eight-night cruise for two on Royal Caribbean, a blue topaz and diamond tennis bracelet from J Foster Jewelers and a $1,000 voucher for a private dining experience at Hollywood Casino’s Final Cut restaurant.

Cancer survivors in attendance may participate in the survivors only raffle. There also will be the raffle basket extravaganza featuring more than 15 baskets.

The names of guests providing a donation of any denomination will be entered into a drawing to win a Michael Kors-themed basket valued at more than $700, donated by Dillard’s.

The Harold Jaffe jewelry pull will feature 300 pairs of cubic zirconia earrings, selling for $20 apiece. Concealed in one of the boxes will be a genuine pair of gold earrings. On the count of 3, 2, 1, everyone will open a box, and one lucky winner will walk away with a pair of diamond studs.

The Victory Center was founded in 1996 to support and educate cancer patients and those closest to them by providing programs and services aimed at meeting the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of those touched by cancer.
