Kim Tishler, preschool director at St. Rose Catholic School, has been named the Teacher of the Year.

St. Rose faculty and staff nominate and vote on the recipient of the award each year.

Mrs. Tishler earned the recognition of her fellow teachers for her dedication to students and her leadership during a challenging school year in the pandemic.

“I am honored and blessed to work with such amazing faculty and staff at St. Rose,” said Mrs. Tishler when she was presented the award at a faculty and staff reception.

St. Rose principal Dr. Bryon Borgelt said she is very deserving of the recognition.

“She works hard to make sure her teachers have what they need,” he said. “She fills in wherever she is needed and she brings out the best in her students.”
