The Perrysburg High School speech and debate team qualified 12 students, along with three alternates, to the 95th State Finals Speech and Debate Tournament. The competition was held March 2 to 4, on the Austintown-Fitch school campus near Youngstown.
The team joined nearly 1,000 other students representing 83 schools and competing in 13 categories of public address, acting and debate events.
