The late Hilda Bentley was known as a historic preservationist. Among her many endeavors, she was a founding member of the Citizens Committee for Fort Meigs in 1965 and was instrumental in the fort’s preservation and reconstruction. HPI will present the Bentley Historic Preservation Award at its annual dinner.
Historic Perrysburg, Inc. is seeking nominations for its annual Bentley Historic Preservation Award.
The purpose of the award is to increase awareness of Perrysburg’s heritage by recognizing individuals, organizations, businesses and agencies whose contributions demonstrate outstanding commitment to excellence in historic preservation, local history or promotion of the heritage of the community.
