State Representative Haraz Ghanbari recently visited the fifth-grade classes at St. Rose Catholic School.

“The students had a lot of great questions and gained a better understanding of how a bill is passed,” St. Rose Principal Dr. Bryon Borgelt said.

The visit was organized by teacher Sara Dubois.

“Rep. Ghanbari discussed many aspects of government, representation and how bills become laws,” she explained, noting that his visit coincided with a unit of study on government, democracy and representation.
