A Perrysburg resident was indicted by a Wood County grand jury on November 17.

Lawrence M. Payne, 68, of Fremont Pike, was indicted on one count of failure to register, a second-degree felony.

Found guilty of a child sex offense in 2016, he was required to submit his address with the child sex offender registry between August 25 and September 17.

If convicted, he faces up to eight years in prison and fines of $15,000. Wood County Common Pleas Judge Mathew Reger has been assigned the case.
