During the Lenten season through April 4, Perrysburg Christians United (PCU) asks the community to support their ministry by donating canned meat–stew, chicken, Spam, tuna–to be distributed to families in need at the food pantry.

All residents and businesses in the area, including Perrysburg, Rossford and Walbridge areas, are welcome to participate in the project which runs until Easter.

Donations of canned meat may be left at the Way Public Library or the following churches: First United Methodist, First United Presbyterian, Grace United Methodist, Lutheran Church of the Master, St. John XXIII, St. Rose, St. Timothy and Zoar Lutheran.

Donors also may drop off donations at the PCU pantry behind Grace United Methodist Church Monday between 1 to 2 p.m. and Friday 9 to 10 a.m.
