Members of the Perrysburg community are invited to a public open house honoring retiring Perrysburg Board of Education member Gretchen Downs, to be held Thursday, December 9. Mrs. Downs is retiring after 20 years of leadership on the board of education. Alumni, current and retired employees, students, families, colleagues and other well-wishers are encouraged to attend.

The open house will be held at Hull Prairie Intermediate School, 25480 Hull Prairie Road, and will start at 6 p.m., with reception and hors d’oeuvres, a program from 7 to 7:30, and cake served from 7:30 to 8 p.m.

Community members are invited to submit a video to be shared with her. A montage of clips will be used to create a video that will be shared with the public.

Entries should be submitted via Google Drive to thosler@perrys burgschools.net. Submissions must be 20 to 30 seconds in length. Deadline for submission is Thursday, December 2.
