Mercy Health’s mobile mammography van will be in Perrysburg twice this month.
The van will be at Starbright Primary Care, 28555 Starbright Boulevard, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Wednesday, June 29, and at Mercy Health-Primary Care and Walk-In, 1103 Village Square, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Thursday, June 30.
The mammography unit will perform 3D mammograms on women 40 and older. Equipped with the newest technology, it offers patients the option of selfcompression, meaning compression can be controlled once they are in position.
Screenings may be covered by insurance. Patients should verify whether M e r c y Health-St. Charles Hospital is an innetwork provider with their carrier.
