In April 1941:

Gasco Food Institute presented its annual “Cooks Carnival” at the Perrysburg High School auditorium. Admission was free.

Council looked into the narrow crossing over the railroad tracks on West Third Street. Residents complained that the tracks were causing numerous broken wheels and tires and near accidents.
