Way Public Library and the League of Women Voters of the Perrysburg Area will welcome Mayor Tom Mackin for a discussion on the state of the city on Tuesday, February 23, at 7 p.m.
Mayor Mackin will discuss COVID-19 and its impact on the community, 2020 accomplishments, 2021 projects and transportation options in Perrysburg. The presentation will be via Zoom.

Mayor Mackin is an honor graduate of the University of Toledo’s College of Law. He was in private practice for 25 years, until 2015, when he joined the Lucas Metropolitan Housing Authority as its chief legal officer. He is a member of the Ohio, Toledo and American Bar Associations.
He became a member of Perrysburg’s parks and recreation advisory committee in 1998 and was appointed to fill a vacant Perrysburg City Council seat that same year. He won his first election the following year. He was re-elected to council four times.
During his time on council, he served on a number of council committees, including the finance, economic development, service-safety, health sanitation and public utilities, and planning and zoning committees.
