On January 10, qualifying students participated in the Perrysburg Junior High School all-school spelling bee. After 21 rounds of spelling, the PJHS champion speller is Iris Weisstein, and the runner-up is Vesha Garg.

Iris will represent PJHS as she continues on to the Blade Northwest Ohio Championship Bee.
