Edible slime is easy to make, and a fun dessert “activity” for the kids table during family feasts like Thanksgiving.
There are two ways to make it. One way is with Marshmallow Fluff and food coloring.
The other is more nutritious using Nutella spread. Both require only two ingredients and will keep children delighted and busy at the end of a meal.
What You Need
•A jar of either Nutella or Marshmallow Fluff
•2 to 3 cups of powdered sugar
•Food coloring (optional for marshmallow fluff slime)
•Medium bowl
•One-fourth measuring cup
•Large spoon
•Clean hands for hand mixing
•Vegetable oil to coat hands (optional)
What You Do
Empty the jar of Nutella or Marshmallow Fluff into a bowl. If using Marshmallow Fluff, add a couple drops of food coloring.
Coat hands with a light coat of vegetable oil to keep them from getting too sticky. Add in one-fourth cup powdered sugar and mix with hands until combined. Continue to mix in powdered sugar one-fourth cup increments until the stickiness is gone. Knead the mixture until it is smooth and ready for play.
Note: It might be necessary to periodically sprinkle more powder sugar over the slime to extend the playtime.
