Longtime Perrysburg resident, Dorothy Darr turned 100 October 17. She was born in Broomfield, Kansas, and grew up on the family farm in Nashua, Kansas. As a young woman, she worked as a secretary for TWA in Kansas City, Missouri. She met her husband Winfield during WWII, who was serving in the U.S. Navy. “It was a blind date,” she said.
