It may have been several years in the making, but the Corporate Citizen of the Year award was presented, finally, to Bowling Green State University. Awarded annually by the Wood County Economic Development Commission to a business or organization that has made valuable contributions to the community, the recognition was put on hiatus in 2020 and 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
