The American Red Cross is calling for donors of all blood types, especially those with O type, to refuel the blood supply.

Those who donate blood May 1 to 15, will receive a $5 amazon.com gift card by email.Upcoming blood donation opportunities for Wood County are as follows:

•Mainstreet Church, Wednesday, May 5, 1 to 7 p.m.

•North Baltimore American Legion, Friday, May 7, noon to 6 p.m.

•Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Wednesday, May 12, 2 to 7 p.m.
