There is a $100 fee for obituaries, which includes the full obituary and a photo to run in one newspaper. A $25 charge will be added for a second photo.

Photos should be sent in jpg format at a minimum of 225 dpi resolution. Black and white or color photos can be used, providing the picture is of good quality and not too small. 

If the obituary is longer than 750 words, an additional $10 per column inch fee will be charged. 

Other than funeral homes, obituaries submitted to the newspapers by individuals or families must be paid prior to publication.
