Dep. Chief Nixon Other Business
The Perrysburg Township trustees unanimously appointed a deputy chief for the police department.
At the November 1 meeting, the trustees promoted Lieutenant Dave Nixon to the post. He replaces Matt Gazarek who was promoted to police chief.
Deputy Chief Nixon has been with the township since August 2007 when he was hired as a road patrol officer. In 2015, he was promoted to lieutenant.
