PPBA recognizes local veterans, elects new officers for next year
At its November 20 meeting, the Point Place Business Association honored local veterans and held elections for the organization’s 2020 officers and board members.
The meeting was held at Point Place United Church of Christ. Members were served a Thanksgiving-style dinner prepared by parishoners. The church serves free meals to the community once a month, so PPBA made a donation to help cover the cost of future dinners.
Since November is the month of gratitude and honoring veterans, PPBA members Vee Stader and Pastor Michael DeLong recognized all the veterans in attendance at the meeting.
