James R. Schlosser, 72, formerly of Fostoria, Ohio, passed away Monday, October 29, 2018. He was born in Fostoria on June 21, 1946, to Richard Junior and Helen (Steinhour) Schlosser. He graduated from Fostoria High School and worked as a journeyman tool and die maker for Atlas Crankshaft until he retired. Jim had many hobbies over the years. He enjoyed boating, camping, snowmobiling, Bob Evans, Tim Hortons, unicycling and classic cars. He had an ear for music and played the guitar and wrote many songs that he joyfully shared with so many. His proudest accomplishment was raising his two children with Shirley (Watson) Schlosser. He was a responsible and dedicated dad and grandpa, who will always be remembered for his positive attitude and his strength even through challenging times. Jim always brought humor to any situation he was involved with and he will be deeply missed. Jim is survived by his son, Brian Schlosser; daughter, Amy (Kelly) Sherman; grandchildren, Lauren and Jaden Schlosser, Abby and Ally Sherman; brother, Tom (Rose) Schlosser; sister, Barb Collier, and lady friend, Georgia Berry. He was preceded in death by his parents, and brother-in-law, Al Collier.
