Robert E. May Jr., 77, of Findlay, passed away at the Otterbein of Perrysburg, on Sunday, December, 11, 2022. He was born in Lima, Ohio, on November 6, 1945, the son of the late Robert E. May Sr. and Donna (Smally) May.

Robert is survived by his sons, Steven May and Gavin May, and his brother, James May, of Seffner, Florida. Preceding him in death were his parents.

Robert was a 1963 Perrysburg High School graduate and received his associate degree in accounting from the University of Toledo. He served his country in the U.S. Army, during the Vietnam War. He was an area supervisor for the Columbia Gas Company of Northwest Ohio and worked his way up to accounting supervisor. Robert was a Fifth Degree Mason at the Perrysburg Phoenix Lodge 123. He also was the minister at the Stoney Ridge United Methodist Church. Robert was a fan of the Cleveland Indians, Browns and the Ohio State Buckeyes.

Robert will have a memorial graveside service at the Bechtel Cemetery near Van Buren, Ohio, in the spring with military honors. Memorial contributions may be directed towards a charity of the donors choice. Online condolences may be expressed at coldrencrates. com.
