James C. Perry, 88, of Jeromesville, Ohio, peacefully passed away in his sleep Monday, October 31, 2022, at his residence. James was born to Elmer and Pearl (Nunley) Perry Sr., October 14, 1934, in Mansfield, Ohio.
James was a U.S. Army veteran and later worked as an upholsterer for National Seating in Mansfield for many years. He was a member of the World-Wide Church of God.
He is survived by his son, James and his wife, “Charlie” S. Perry of Perrysburg; their daughters, Alysa and Andrea Parmelee of (Los Angeles, California); sisters, Pauline Kline and Norma Selvage, both of Jeromesville, and nephews and nieces, Susan Nixon, Tim Schaeffer, Valerie Hall, Dottie DeWulf, Debbie Stull, April Bright, Alice “Allie” Hothem, Diane Garlough, Pam Trbovich, Tom Selvage, Doug Selvage and Lisa Kelly.
He was preceded in death by the one true love of his life, Toni Ferguson; his brothers, Elmer “Junior” Perry, David Perry, Robert Perry, and his sisters, Shirley Trummer, Janice Hothem and Thelma Holmes.
