The Lake Erie harmful algal bloom bulletin has continued their monitoring of algae containing potentially harmful cyanobacteria in western Lake Erie over the past few weeks. In the last bulletin, released on Monday, July 17, the National Center for Coastal Ocean Science measured the area of the bloom at 120 square miles, unchanged from the previous week.
