Work to take down the playground equipment at Woodlands Park is scheduled to begin this week due to its age and the difficulty of finding replacement parts to keep it operating safely. It will be replaced with a new, inclusive playground. Construction will start in the spring, as soon as weather permits, and is scheduled to be completed by June 30.
