The body of a man was pulled from the Maumee River near the Maple Street boat launch on Monday. The Perrysburg Police Division reported that an 88-year-old man was discovered .

At press time August 22, police were withholding his identity. Police were assisted at the scene by the city fire division and the coroner’s office.
