Way Library will host “Ships, Shipping, Shipwrecks and Genealogy,” presented by Ellen Kennedy, on Thursday, July 7, at 7 p.m.

For all of history, individuals have relied on the Great Lakes as a transportation route as well as the origin of important resources. Shipping on the Great Lakes could be dangerous, and shipwrecks were common.
