An assistant for the Perrysburg Township fiscal officer will begin work next month.

At the May 15 meeting, the trustees approved a recommendation by fiscal officer Gretchen Welch to hire Sarah Brewer beginning June 3.

Brewer will be full time and paid $32.70 per hour.
