Cub Scout Pack 209 is recruiting boys and girls in kindergarten through fifth grade to join the Boy Scouts of America.

The Cubs Scouts will host a mini carnival at 6:30 p.m., Thursday, August 24, at Fort Meigs Elementary School.

Parents can learn about the scouting program, and children can enjoy a mini carnival with games and Lakeside Hawaiian Ice.
