At the request of Police Chief Matt Gazarek, the Perrysburg Township trustees approved a school resource officer contract with Penta Career Center for this school year.

At the August 7 meeting, the trustees entered into an agreement to provide the career center with two SROs on a daily basis.

The chief noted that the township has been providing the district with SROs for a number of years.
