The American Heart Association recognized members of the Perrysburg Township Fire Department with a Lifeline EMS Performance Achievement award.
At the trustees November 3 meeting, Sara Hegarty, Toledo AHA executive director, commended the department for “the critical life-saving role EMS provides to the overall success of STEMI care, which treats the most severe type of heart attack.
