Judy Pfaffenberger will present a virtual trip to scenic France on Tuesday, September 20, at 2 p.m., at Way Public Library. The road trip begins in the south in Provence and heads north through the Gorge of Tarn, visiting many quaint scenic villages along the way. A special stop was made at the ruins of Oradour-sur-Glane, a ruined village left as a memorial to the hundreds of civilians killed by Nazis four days after D-Day. After a visit to Chateau de Chambord, the trip concludes at Mont Saint-Michel on the English Channel. The free presentation is made possible with support from Way Public Library Foundation and Friends. It is open to the public and refreshments will be provided.
