The Wood County sheriff ’s office was named a winner in the 2022 Light Ohio Blue First Responder photo challenge. The event ran from September 11 to 30, honoring all first responders throughout Ohio and the nation who never paused nor faltered on the morning of September 11. Nearly 50,000 votes were cast to determine the winners in 11 categories.
