Craig Hufford, an employee of the City of Perrysburg public service department, holds the historical brass marker from the recently revamped cannons at Riverside Park on West Front Street.

The cannons are from the frigate USS Constitution. They honor the memory of Commodore Oliver Hazard Perry who drove the enemy off Lake Erie during the War of 1812.
