Perrysburg Township is among 19 communities to be awarded a Wood County Park District grant.

At the park board’s December 13 meeting, Director Chris Smalley said they received a number of requests for higher amounts this year, noting they set aside $100,000 to be awarded to local community parks throughout the county.

The township received $4,000 for playground equipment.
