The Perrysburg Twirling Sophisticates marched in the competition parade August 20 in Pemberville for the Pemberville Free Fair. The Sophisticates took first place in the marching division. Ellie Garst took first place in the feature twirler category. The group is under the direction of Andrea Whiting. “We always love participating in the Pemberville parade,” Ms. Whiting said.
