Point Place Art Walk is set for Saturday, September 17, featuring the masterpieces of professional local artists from 10 a.m. and 4 p.m., on the pathway near the Point Place Lighthouse on Summit Street along Maumee Bay. The event is free and open to the public. Featuring a variety of media, all works on display will be the original creations of the artists and will be evaluated on originality, quality and appearance. Shoreland School students will have their work on display. Art teacher Tamara Conlin always displays a variety of students’ creative pieces from several grades. A beautiful glass bowl will be offered as a silent auction item. The hand-blown bowl measures 13 inches wide by 5 inches tall. The piece was donated by the Toledo Museum of Art and is marked TMA on the base. Interested bidders can see the bowl during the show. Libardo’s Catering and Sheamies Snowcones will provide food to purchase. This year’s Art Show poster, shown above, and Point Place Art Show 2022 T-Shirts also will be on sale.
