Perrysburg Township Fire Department recognized one of its best at the trustees May 4 meeting.
Wes Waggoner, firefighter/EMT, was named the 2021 Firefighter of the Year.
Fire Chief Tom Brice described Mr. Waggoner, a lifetime resident of the township, as having “service in his blood.”
His father Wendell Waggoner served as a patrolman for the township for five years.
