Metroparks Toledo, Ability Center introduce inclusive garden at TBG
The Toledo Botanical Garden website describes the acreage as “a museum for plants,” a place that “offers visitors the opportunity to share, discover and enjoy nature’s beauty.”
The garden recently acquired a new element among its 60 acres of display gardens and plant collections.
On July 29, TBG unveiled its latest addition–the Doneghy inclusive garden.
Designed for people of all abilities, the garden is named in honor of Judge Charles Doneghy, who died in 2018 of Alzheimer’s disease, and his wife Lera, a Metroparks commissioner.
