Several Springfield High School students and the district’s Students In Action initiative were recognized at the school board’s May 8 study session.
Ann Toney, executive director of Leadership Toledo, and Superintendent Matt Geha recognized this trimester’s outstanding students with Jefferson awards, which are considered the Nobel prize for public service.

Nominated by instructor Marty Perlaky, Jenna was recognized for volunteerism. “Jenna has been instrumental in showing up to many different volunteering opportunities,” Mr. Perlaky wrote.
