Amy Burzynski and Timothy
engaged to be wed

Amy Marie Burzynski, daughter of Maureen- Kennedy-Burzynski of Berkley, Michigan, and Tom Burzynski of Ann Arbor, Michigan, and Timothy Lee Gattshall, son of Diane and Danny Gattshall of Perrysburg, announce their engagement.
Amy is a 1999 graduate of Shrine Catholic High School, and a 2003 graduate of Michigan State University, where she received a bachelor of arts degree in advertising. She is employed at Valassis in Livonia, Michigan, as an account services liaison.
Timothy is a 1998 graduate of Perrysburg High School, and a 2002 graduate of Miami University, where he received a bachelor of science degree in business with a marketing major. He is employed at Campbell-Ewald in Warren, Michigan, as a media supervisor.
A May 9, 2009, wedding at the National Shrine of the Little Flower Catholic Church in Royal Oak, Michigan, is planned.



Rebecca Dal Lago and Matthew Gilbert
engaged to be wed

Rebecca Anne Dal Lago, daughter of Barbara and Kenneth Rodgers of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and Raymond and Suzanne Dal Lago of Addison, Illinois, and Matthew Earl Gilbert, son of Mr. and Mrs. Earl Gilbert of Perrysburg, announce their engagement.
Rebecca attended Perrysburg High School and graduated in 1997 from Unionville High School in Kennett Square, Pennsylvania. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree from West Chester University in 2001. During college, she was elected into the Gamma Sigma Alpha Honor Society and served as vice president of her sorority, Delta Phi Epsilon. She is employed as a medical esthetician in Toledo.
Matthew is a 1999 graduate of Perrysburg High School. In 2004 he graduated from the University of Toledo with a bachelor of science degree in electrical engineering. He has spent the past four years as a robotics installation engineer with FANUC Robotics in Holland, Ohio.
A September 20, 2008, wedding at First Presbyterian Church of Maumee is planned.

Cameron Gallagher and Brandi Rovito
engaged to be wed

David and Vickie Gallagher announce the engagement of their son, Cameron Martin Gallagher, to Brandi Jaye Rovito, the daughter of Robin Rovito of Akron, New York, and James Rovito of Spring Hill, Florida.
Cameron is a 1995 graduate of Perrysburg High School. He received a bachelor of arts degree from the College of Humanities at Ohio State University. He is employed as an aquatic biologist with The Lake Doctor in Columbus.
Brandi is a 1996 graduate of Akron Central School, Akron, New York. She received a bachelor’s degree from the State University of New York at Potsdam, New York, and a juris doctor degree from Capital University Law School, Columbus, Ohio. She is a family law attorney with Babbitt & Weis in Columbus.
An August 10, 2008, wedding on Onset Beach in Massachusetts, is planned.



Joseph Adair and Laura Swartz
engaged to be wed

Paul and Laurie Swartz announce the engagement of Paul and the late Libbie Swartz’s daughter, Laura Swartz, to Joseph Adair, son of Mike and Mary Adair of Cincinnati, Ohio.
Laura is a 2002 graduate of Perrysburg High School, and a 2006 graduate of the College of Mount St Joseph, Cincinnati, where she received a bachelor of fine arts degree in interior design and a minor in art history. She served as president of the student chapter of the American Society of Interior Designers and is employed at Clossons Interior Design in Cincinnati.
Joseph is a 2000 graduate of Oak Hills High School, and a 2005 graduate of the College of Mount St. Joseph with a double major, bachelor of fine arts degrees in graphic design and with a concentration in drawing, minors in illustration and art history.
He is employed at Weyerhaeuser- Specialty Products Division located in Richwood, Kentucky.
An August 9, 2008, wedding at St. Teresa of Avila church in Cincinnati, is planned.


Marriage Announcements

Amanda Luff and Garrett Thacker
united in marriage

Amanda Renee Luff and Garrett Vaughn Thacker were united in marriage on Friday, May 16, 2008, at the Nazareth Hall Chapel. The double-ring ceremony was performed by the Rev. Terry Powell of First United Methodist Church.
The bride is the daughter of Rick and Janice Luff of Perrysburg.
The bridegroom is the son of Vaughn and Carolyn Thacker of Perrysburg. Matron of Honor was Keri Ardner of Findlay, Ohio, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Christine and Molly Haggerty, cousins of the bride, and Laura Markwood. Maryn Cameron, Miciah Thacker, Madelyn Stucki and Alexa Stucki, nieces of the bridegroom, served as Flower Girls.
Best Man was Bryant Thacker of Lehi, Utah, brother of the bridegroom. Groomsmen were Robert Thacker, brother of the bridegroom, Kirk Stucki, brother-in-law of the bridegroom, and Jaren Simper.
A dinner/dance reception was held to celebrate with family and friends in the Cadet West Room at Nazareth Hall. The couple took a honeymoon trip to Fort Myers, Florida. Garrett and Amanda are 2004 graduates of Perrysburg High School, and Amanda is a 2008 cum laude graduate of Miami University of Ohio, where she received a bachelor’s degree in business marketing.
They will be residing in Orem, Utah, while Garrett finishes his college education.
